Tract Home:

Tract Home Someday I'll be able to purchase a house in Southern California whether it will be a fixer-upper, tract home or custom built is still yet to be determined. But when that example of cottage, Craftsman, adobe or colonial design comes to fruition, one of its shining points must be the garage.

Thirteen sections have been used, but a typical Requiem contains nine: Introit, Kyrie, Gradual and Tract, Sequence or Prose, Offertorium, Sanc¬tus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei, and Communio. The absence of the joyful sections of the regular Mass (Gloria and Credo) and replacement of the Alle¬luia by the Tract, and the added Sequence or Dies Irae, lend particular prominence to the sections from the Proper, their texts having special rele¬vance to the solemn occasion.

See Also Home Sickness:

RADIATION home sickness. The original concept of radiation home sickness has been enor¬mously expanded with the advent of the atomic age. Treatment of disease, particularly cancer, by X-ray methods has been in operation since 1896. As experience was gained in this complex field, the effects of radiation on the body became apparent. Apart from the effect of the radiant beam on the malignant growth itself, other re¬sults were observed. Some patients showed fa¬tigue, prostration, nausea and vomiting. It was quickly appreciated that the magnitude of these symptoms was related to the location and size of the body area under treatment.

National Insurance Act, 1966. The national in¬surance act of 1966, introduced by a Labour government, extended the earnings-related prin¬ciple to cover home sickness, unemployment, and wid¬ows' benefits. Again, no state subsidy was given, but no contracting out was permitted. All em¬ployed persons (and their employers) pay 0.5% of earnings from £9 to £-30 per week. The act provides only for "short-term" earnings-related benefits—essentially, payment of wage-related in¬crement to basic flat-rate benefits during the first six months of home sickness, unemployment, or widow¬hood.

On The Other Hand See Home Base:

A principal section of a pyramid is a section cut by a plane parallel to the base and lying between the base and vertex. It is a polygon similar to the base polygon, such that the lengths of corresponding sides of the section and the base are proportional to their distances from the vertex A, and the areas of the principal section and the base are proportional to the squares of their distances from A.

There is no CB channel monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard, and there is no connection with the telephone system ashore. The range of CB radios is up to about 10 miles, but the distance may be greater to a base station ashore with a high antenna. A skipper may set up such a base operation at home base or carry a hand-held set ashore for communicating back to his Boat at anchor. While true marine radios must be used only for ship's business, there is no such restriction on CB sets. In areas where the Coast Guard is not operating, CB radios often provide the only means for calling for help in an emergency.
