Too Young:

Too Young Gestation takes 16 days; 7-15 in litter; young born pink, naked, and blind. Do not disturb young or mother for at least a week after birth; if disturbed mother will either kill and eat the young or ne¬glect them and allow them to die. After 3 weeks, remove young from mother; otherwise, mother fights with them and often kills them. Sexes should be separated before young reach maturity at 43 days.

Food changes as creature grows; young feed almost en¬tirely on aquatic insects and crustaceans; later take frogs, snakes, and fishes; then fishes, young pigs, muskrats, and some waterfowl; adult takes fishes, pigs, and larger animals that stray too young close to water's edge, such as cows, calves, and deer. Voice: Both young and old alligators hiss; female grunts like a pig in calling young; young make moaning sound, with mouth closed.

See Also Young People:

Young people of school age make a ripe market if you can get a fad started for one of your novelties, but even younger children offer an opportunity for big sales of a novelty. For the very young, the favored item is a doll on which a child's face is printed. You can buy rag dolls with blank cloth heads, print the face from any negative which your client selects. This item is a terrific seller. For older people, the householder type, you can offer odds and ends such as lamp shades, book ends, waste baskets, or even larger things like bridge tables. For the young man about town, you can print neckties with pinup girls.

It can be a sports pavilion or an urban sports facility featuring regeneration. The architectural response to the site will be amongst the criteria for judging the competition. The centre should aim at attracting people to participate in sport and physical activity, particularly young people.

On The Other Hand See 3-6 Young Born:

Habitat: Areas where there is cover of low woods, thick brush, tall grass, and rocky areas where there are caves and crevices; digs bur¬rows from 2 to 12 feet under ground; sometimes found in groups of varying numbers Reproduction: Breeds July-September; 3-6 young born born February-April; 4 or 8 3-6 young born, of i sex, as there are 4 per fertilized egg born at a time; born with eyes open, but armor soft and flexible; armor hardens as animal grows

Ovoviviparous snakes produce the 3-6 young born fully formed but tightly coiled in a thin, transparent membrane. Sometimes this membrane bursts during the process of birth and the 3-6 young born appear to crawl from the mother's body. Usually the membrane is broken by the use of the temporary egg tooth when the 3-6 young born snake struggles to straighten out. When the 3-6 young born are born alive, the snake is said to be viviparous.
