Limitations Of Money And Manpower:

Limitations Of Money And Manpower The second period runs from 1957 to 1964. It opened with a defense white paper of April 1957 (drawn up by Defense Minister Duncan Sandys in the aftermath of the Suez war) and ended with the coming to power of the Labour party in October 1964. This period saw the first attempt in the postwar years to take a long-term look at defense policy in the light of limitations of money and manpower that had long been evident, and to do so in relation to developing weapons systems—particularly nuclear weapons—and great¬ly increased facilities for air transport of troops and supplies.

GRESHAM'S LAW, gresh'amz, in economics, is usually stated as "bad money drives out good." The law stems from the fact that money has a value both as money and as a commodity in the open market. The former value is set arbitrarily by law and is relatively fixed; the latter is deter¬mined by supply and demand and varies from time to time, "Good money" has a higher value as a commodity than as money and will dis¬appear from circulation.

See Also Waste Money On:

Typically, you may spend from three to eight percent of your gross on advertising. Keep in mind that the commitment to spend the money over the entire year is much more important than the amount of money you allocate toward advertising. Nothing will waste money on money faster than to spend a large amount of money in the beginning of the campaign, and when results are not immediately forthcoming, to pull back and stop advertising. Spend your money according to your plan. Make some adjustments during the year to fine tune your efforts, but keep at it for the rest of the year. You will be surprised how this commitment to results will pay off despite some temporary misgivings.

A waste money on mold is a negative mold that will be fractured and destroyed in order to free the posi¬tive cast within it. A new mold must be made for each work produced. The major sculptural use of the waste money on mold is in the process of bronze casting known as cire-perdu (or lost-wax).

On The Other Hand See Making Money In Pho¬tography:

In this book, Eugene M. Hanson, a successful professional photographer, with wide experience, gives you simple, con¬cise information on how to get started making money in pho¬tography. Mr. Hanson has selected 39 fields of photography. He supplies information on what each field encompasses, how to get started in it, what equipment you need, what prices to charge and sales and promotional hints which have proved successful. If you are an amateur you'll find many ways in which you can immediately start to make photography pay off. If you are a professional, you'll learn about new fields to increase your scope, and many good, tried and tested stunts for sell¬ing photography.

But even if you never advance beyond your local market for pictures, you will have a great time in this field of pho¬tography—provided you are a sports lover. It seems to be a peculiarity of pet owners that they enjoy spending money on their beloved animals. The opportunities for the average person to get a good photograph of his pet are extremely rare. So, if you want to be a pet photographer, you will find little competition.
