Huma Activities:

Huma Activities Scientific Religion.—Since the rise of modern science in the late medieval and early modern periods, there have been constant attempts to es¬tablish religion as a science. The deists were one of the earliest groups to try to expunge all non-rational and historically unverifiable elements from the Christian tradition. It was their contentio that science should be the determining standar which should be rigorously applied to all huma activities. The existence of God, they arguet can be established by rational argument, but propc sitions which purport to tell of God's action within the world are held suspect and usually de clared unscientific and consequently false.

This time, I will begin with a definition: Publicity is a message about your activities prepared as editorial, rather than advertising, material, and pub¬lished or broadcast without charge. Apart from the public relations techniques I have described, you can get a lot of mileage by keeping the newspapers, radio, and TV stations in your area informed of your activities. However, before we get into the details, remember that these activities must have some interest to the people who will see or hear them, or the editors will throw away your material.

See Also Phys¬ical Activities:

As will be seen later, in order for exer¬cise to promote short-term fitness gains and enhance long-term health and well-being, children should regularly take part in activities of varying intensity, a number of days a week. The actual levels of phys¬ical activity in young children are notoriously difficult to measure; many of the standard procedures used with adults, such as self-reporting, measuring energy intake, heart rate monitoring and obser¬vation, can be inappropriate and problematic with infants.

The Active Schools initiative focuses more narrowly upon chil¬dren's physical activity, in school and out of school. It involves the establishment of a range of policies which promote purposeful phys¬ical activities, encourage participation beyond the school, and support and reward active lifestyles (Harris 1994). Above all, active schools aim to promote physical activity and an active lifestyle as things that are fun and enjoyable, and that bring about the opportunity of suc¬cess and achievement (Fox 1996).

On The Other Hand See Busi¬ness Activities:

The first few assignments are the most difficult in this busi¬ness, because after you've experimented a bit you'll find that the Lighting and the exposures and even the viewpoints are pretty much standardized, and you'll use the same tech¬nique over and over again.

In the llth and 12th centuries, as business aerations expanded and became more compli¬ed, merchants ceased doing all their own work. They delegated such operations as the transpor¬tation of goods and the sale and purchasing of materials at distant places to factors or em-pbyees. The typical merchant located his busi¬ness activities in one town. At this point the erchant guilds became localized, occupied pri-arily with the economic specializations of the .nous towns. For example, the merchant guilds : such wool centers as Ghent and Ypres in .aiders concentrated on production and distribuwof woolen cloth.
