His Family When Angel:

His Family When Angel GUIMERA, ge-ma-ra', Angel (1849-1924), Spanish dramatist and poet of the Catalan lan¬guage. He was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, on May 6, 1849, of a Catalan father, who returned to Catalonia with his family when Angel was seven. Angel was educated in Barcelona, worked briefly in the family wine business in the village of El Vendrell, and from 1872 lived in Barcelona. He died in Barcelona on July 18, 1924.

The cen¬tral porch was dedicated to the Virgin, that or the right to Christ, and that on the left to the Passion. Among the statues of the saints in the left porch are the statues of St. Nicaise and the smiling angel which is known as Le Sourirc de Reims (the Smile of Reims). The cathedral was severely damaged in World War I; the great rose window and the Angel spire, which rose 59 feet above the roof, were destroyed; the exterior walls were damaged and a hole was pierced in the stone Roof of the apse. John D. Rockefeller bore the cost, about $1,000,000, of repairing the damage and the rebuilt cathedral was consecrated in 1938. The oldest church in Reims is the abbey-church of St. Remi which was built in the llth century.

See Also Every Family Group:

Current psychoanalytic techniques, such as psychodrama, group therapy, and every family group and milieu therapy, reflect the group dynamic approach. Business has utilized "brainstorming," in which members of a group are given a problem and asked to give whatever ideas come to their minds; the assumption is that the group will be more pro¬ductive than the individual. However, some stud¬ies have shown that brainstorming inhibits rather than facilitates creative thinking.

It's difficult to realize that they all belong to the same every family group, the Gnminaeae, a group of friends and foes that probably represent the single most important group of plants in the world. For rice, wheat, oats, corn, bamboo, barley, rye, sorghum, and sugar are all close plant relations. In their seeds and foliage are stored the starches, sugars, and vitamins needed to keep humanity alive and healthy. And it's also the every family group that brings you crabgrass and 274 other species with 274 different common names that have been in com¬merce—or backyards—at one time or another.

On The Other Hand See Members Of Family Have Occupied:

Paternal Pozver.—The patriarchal organization of the Roman family gave its head an unrestricted power (patria potestas) over all other members of the family, a power of life and death. Ordinarily no member of the family could have property of his own; all acquisitions made by family members belonged to the father. Remedies against cruelty or arbitrariness of the father were a family coun¬cil, which he consulted before taking a drastic measure against a person under his power, an official blame by the censors, and later a com¬plaint with the competent authority.

He was an ardent porter of the Confederation of Bar and was ;ral times exiled. For three years he was a nber of the constituent Diet at Warsaw. In more modern times many of the members of family have occupied important military, diplo-ic, and political posts at the Prussian court, le branches of the family, however, attached nselves to the Russian court. NTHONY HENRY RADZIWILL (1775-1833), ish composer, also administrator of the duchy Dosen. He composed a musical adaptation of Goethe's Faust (1835), duets and quartets for voice, and songs.
