His Eyes Pick:

His Eyes Pick The eyes of a spider are usually near the front or anterior end of the head, but some are directly on top. They are single facets, hence are called simple eyes. They may number two, four, six, or eight; eight is the usual number. However, the cave spiders lack eyes entirely. Regardless of the number, the eyes are always placed in a definite arrangement. Often some pairs are much larger than others.

A selection of old china dotted randomly across the Dresser top makes a pretty addition to tHis eyes pick room. The spotty designs look fun, rustic and quaint - definitely not from a contemporary collection. It's easy to start a collection like tHis eyes pick. Just pick a theme (a colour or design) and keep your eyes peeled in junk shops and markets.

See Also Between Eyes:

A typical insect is characterized by three divisions to the body—the head, the thorax, and the abdo¬men. Attached to the thorax are six jointed legs, three on each side, and sometimes wings. between eyes: The between eyes, when present, are placed somewhere upon the head and are of two types: simple between eyes, called ocelli, which are found in insect larvae and in many adults; and compound between eyes, which are found in adult insects and in the immature stages of types which resemble the adult during growth.

between eyes: between eyes, when present, are usually prominent on the head. When closed they protrude into the Roof of the mouth, but they may or may not have movable eyelids. There is no nictitating mem¬brane. Ears: Salamanders have no ears, as such, but in some species the front legs, or the lower jaw, are adapted to transmit vibrations from the ground.

On The Other Hand See Face And Eyes:

In October Alfred Donne showed the Academy of Sciences a portrait of a woman with her face and eyes powdered white. It could hardly have been successful, for in April 1840, Jean Baptiste Francois Soleil wrote in his instruc¬tion manual that "hopes that had been held for obtaining portraits have not yet been realized ... I know that up to now no portrait has been produced with the eyes open and the attitude and face and eyes natural.

Its hair is rather long, coarse, and black, but in typical forms the back from between the eyes to the base of the tail is blanketed with silver gray bordered by white, in strong contrast with the jet black of the limbs, face and eyes, and underparts. Some forms are entirely black, however, while in others only the top of the head is white. Like the skunk, the ratel has large, well-developed anal glands capable of ejecting at will a secretion that not only possesses a most objectional odor but has a burning effect when it comes in contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth.
