Guest House:

Guest House After the Guest house leaves the front desk, the representative inserts the Guest house folio or rack slip in the room rack or file. The Guest house folio is stapled or clipped to the back of the rack slip. At some properties, the Guest house folio is used as a rack slip. The folio or rack slip is inserted in the slot or file assigned to the Guest house.

Each item of information, such as the Guest house name, address, telephone number, and so forth, is defined as a field. When the Guest house record is saved, the reservation data is stored in the computer. If, later, the client changes the check-in date, length of stay, room type, or some other aspect of the reservation, the Guest house record can be retrieved and modified. When a Guest house arrives at the hotel, the client record can be displayed at the front desk so that the reservation can be verified.

See Also Of House Organs:

Do you know about trade journals? There are more than 1,500 of them, plus another 2,200 or so of house organs which also are published regularly. And they spend more than a million dollars a year for photography.

And what of the definition of death itself? The use of organs from cadavers depends upon the fact that each Tissue dies at a different rate. If we assume that death occurs at the moment the brain stops functioning, many organs are available in an intact state for transplantation. If, however, we say that death occurs when spontaneous heart action has ceased, when reflexes are absent, and when there is no respiration, then some organs have also died or have been irreparably damaged. To avoid this, there is much pressure toward a new definition of death dependent upon brain, not heart, activity.

On The Other Hand See House Of Burgesses:

Throughout the English Civil War Virginians remained loyal to the Cavalier cause, recognized Charles II as king in 1649, and wel¬comed hundreds of Royalists who fled from England. Oliver Cromwell dispatched a fleet to subdue Virginia, but no conflict ensued, and liberal terms of surrender were granted in 1652. During England's Commonwealth period (1652-1659), government was in the hands of the lower house of the General Assembly, the House of Burgesses.

HARRISON, Benjamin (c. 1726-1791), American political leader, who was a signer of the Declara¬tion of Independence. He was born and brought up at the Harrison family seat, Berkeley, in Charles City county, Va., and attended William and Mary College. A longtime member of the Virginia House of Burgesses, he was chosen a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses (1774—1777). He often served as chairman of the whole house and in that capacity presided over the debates when the Declaration was reported.
