Cliff Walk Along: A range of steep hills looms above the city, and along their flanks runs a superb scenic boulevard, the Strada Costiera, extending some 15 miles, all of it within the city's orbit. Three special belvederes at lofty levels are: Sistiana, directly above a like-named bathing beach; Villa Opicina, reach¬able by climbing tram, with a holiday inn (dancing on the terrace) called Albergo Obelisco (from here take a wonderful cliff walk along Strada Napoleonica); and the skyline village of Monrupino, loftiest of the three and with the finest view.
