Bringing Home: A pet cat should not be given freedom to wander out of doors through the night. A well-trained cat, kept in its quarters, is prevented from mixing with strays or other prowlers and bringing home "foreign" fleas and diseases. Freedom at night is neither necessary nor desirable when the cat is given the privilege of running free during the day.
Peer-group pressure from die children can also be used to encourage the apparendy uninterested parent to join die scheme.
