Almond-shaped Eyes: The dog has a bearlike head with falling ears and dark almond-shaped eyes. It is all white, or principally white with markings of badger, gray, or varying shades of tan. The moderately long, straight or slightly undulating outer coat covers a fine white undercoat.
Almond (Prunus amygdalus).—This nut is the stone of a dry, peach-like fruit which splits open at maturity and frees the nut. The tree also resembles the peach both in appearance and hardiness. Because of its very early blossoming habit, however, the almond bears satisfactorily only in subtropical climates. The principal almond-producing countries are Italy, Spain, Iran, the United States (California), and Portu¬gal.See Also Eager Eyes:The eyes of a spider are usually near the front or anterior end of the head, but some are directly on top. They are single facets, hence are called simple eyes. They may number two, four, six, or eight; eight is the usual number. However, the cave spiders lack eyes entirely. Regardless of the number, the eyes are always placed in a definite arrangement. Often some pairs are much larger than others.
And regarding prostitution, this nettlesome word is dexterously dodged in most accounts of London's night, all sorts of circumlocutions being called into play, but the thing itself is there, as evident to all visitors as the Eros fountain of Piccadilly Circus. The girls, as bold as brass, swarm all over the West End and Soho, each one always, it seems, at work on a cigarette and each one with eager eyes roving.
On The Other Hand See Screw Eyes Along:^Tie a cord end to lowest loop in each row. Pass each length of cord up through all loops in its row. Then pass all cords to the right through screw eyes along the track. All the cords will hang on the same side of the window. Knot them together and trim the ends level with the sill.
A typical insect is characterized by three divisions to the body—the head, the thorax, and the abdo¬men. Attached to the thorax are six jointed legs, three on each side, and sometimes wings.
Eyes: The eyes, when present, are placed somewhere upon the head and are of two types: simple eyes, called ocelli, which are found in insect larvae and in many adults; and compound eyes, which are found in adult insects and in the immature stages of types which resemble the adult during growth. |
